Today, Civo, the company reimagining cloud computing, announced its full speaker line-up and schedule for its Civo Navigate Europe conference, due to take place on September 10th and 11th, 2024, at Estrel Congress Center in Berlin. The conference will focus on the theme of innovation, educating attendees on how to better leverage cloud-native technologies.
One of the keynotes will be from Kelsey Hightower, one of the most respected figures in cloud computing. Recently retired, Hightower was previously a Distinguished Engineer at Google, leading community engagement for the organization. A talented speaker, with a rare talent for championing cloud technologies, his keynote is not to be missed.
Joining Hightower in the keynote slots will be Frank Thelen, a serial founder, tech-investor, and TV personality for Die Höhle der Löwen, the German version of Shark Tank.
Since 1994, he has founded and managed a range of technology and design-driven companies. In his role as the founder and CEO of Freigeist Capital, he focuses on early-phase deep tech investments. He has written two best-selling books, Startup-DNA and 10xDNA. Frank is currently Chief Executive Officer of the TEQ Capital-Fund. In addition, Frank Thelen is known as an AI expert, as he has already founded several companies with AI technology.
Mark Boost, CEO of Civo, said, “This is our fourth major Civo Navigate event, the second in Europe, and we continue to be blown away by the incredible responses from attendees. Central to all feedback was the quality of the speakers invited. As we approach our second Civo Navigate Europe, we cannot wait to build on the success of our previous events as Navigate continues to grow. Our line-up of speakers is every bit as exciting as last year’s, and we can’t wait for our audience in Berlin to be inspired and challenged by their diverse range of expertise. The event will bring together some of the driving forces behind the most revolutionary tech developments happening today. We can’t wait to hear from them in September.”
With 50+ talks and 10+ workshops scheduled, attendees will be able to hear from over 50 expert speakers across the two days. There will be tracks on Kubernetes, AI/Machine Learning, Security, DevOps, Web Assembly and much more. Talks start at 8:30 am on Tuesday 10th September, with the event closing at 6:00 pm on Wednesday 11th September.
Alongside the keynotes, there will be speakers from Bosch, Cisco, Red Hat, Autodesk, SNYK, and JFROG. There will also be a range of workshops, cloud security seminars, and a dedicated AI room hosting sessions with inspirational industry leaders throughout the day.
