With Navigate Europe 2024 kicking off in just over a month, we can’t wait to welcome everyone to our fourth major event, this time in Berlin, Germany, on September 10th and 11th. We have a lineup of over 30 speakers across a two-day schedule, with topics ranging from emerging technologies to cloud native practices to sustainability.
With four different stages, here’s a preview of what you can expect from the schedule:

Who are the keynote speakers for Navigate Europe 2024?
During this two-day event, we will be joined by two leading names in the tech industry, Kelsey Hightower and Frank Thelen:
- Kelsey Hightower has been one the most influential people in technology over the past decade, he is the former Distinguished Engineer at Google and a Kubernetes pioneer. His expertize lies in cloud computing, DevOps, and container orchestration - empowering developers to build scalable, resilient systems.
- Frank Thelen is a European serial founder, technology investor, and TV personality with nearly thirty years in the industry. Widely known for his time on Germany's Shark Tank and as CEO of the 10xDNA Disruptive Technologies Fund, Frank's expertise lies in nurturing startups and driving innovation within the tech landscape.

At Navigate Europe 2024, Stuart will be touching upon this experience to showcase how enterprises can reduce their carbon footprint and improve efficiency by adopting Rust, WebAssembly, and scale-to-zero platforms, showcasing the benefits over traditional microservices architectures.

Hannah Foxwell - Product Director at Snyk Container
With Hannah Foxwell, Product Director at Snyk Container, get an insight into some of the reasons that container security can be difficult to navigate and how current tooling is not being set up to succeed. This session on “This is why we can’t have nice things - container security in the real word” will touch upon Hannah’s experience in Platform Engineering and Product Leadership to help attendees understand what’s working in the real world, and what’s really not.
