For this event, we have partnered with Ambassador, Buoyant, Cockroach Labs, Fairwinds, and Venafi to bring you the KubeCon Chicago warm-up event!
What is the schedule for KubeCrash?
This event will include over ten talks/workshops from industry experts, including a session from Destiny O'Connor on a new CNCF initiative that aims to create a pathway into cloud native for the deaf and hard of hearing.

Supporting Deaf Kids Code
As part of KubeCrash Fall 2023, we are also teaming up to raise money for Deaf Kids Code where we will be donating $1 for each KubeCrash registration to the non-profit.
The likelihood of underemployment or unemployment for deaf and hard of hearing people is much higher than for hearing persons, discrepancy that is purely based on communication barriers. Today, computing has become a bridge, providing a streamlined way to interact, creating lots of new opportunities. Deaf Kids Code's goal is to promote, inspire, and empower deaf and hard of hearing children to innovate through the world of programming. A wonderful initiative that pursues very similar goals to the CNCF Deaf and Hard of Hearing Working Group which was initiated by one of the KubeCrash co-founders.
