We’re super excited to be attending KubeCon 2022 in Detroit as a sponsor. There will be a huge array of talks, workshops, and events to catch this year, not to mention the after parties!
Detroit is a city steeped in history. Famously known as “Motor City”, Detroit and Henry Ford pioneered the mass production of automobiles in the early 1900s. The city also has a rich musical history, being the birthplace of the legendary Motown record label and the Techno music genre.
Through our official Civo Detroit logo, designed by renowned artist and Detroit-native Ndubisi Okoye, we've tried to capture some of that history.

At KubeCon, you will be able to find us at booth SU29 where we’ll be running demos on how Civo can save your business time and money, giving away swag with our scratchcard competition, and taking your questions.

We’ll be running regular product demos from our booth at SU29. You can find us at the following times (EDT):
- Wednesday: 11:00am + 2:00pm
- Thursday: 11:00am + 2:00pm
- Friday: 11:00am + 2:00pm

Civo TV
For the first time ever we’ll be debuting Civo TV! Kunal will be interviewing and getting one-on-one time with the people that make up the cloud native community, recording live from the KubeCon event space in Detroit.

Buoyant workshop
Our friends over at Buoyant, creators of Linkerd, will be running a hands-on workshop covering how to run a service mesh in production (available both in-person and online). This workshop will take place on October 25, 9:00am - 1:00pm (cloud hosting by Civo).
