India sovereign cloud now available
Through this meetup, we will also look at how the Civo India Sovereign Cloud is helping businesses meet India’s evolving data protection needs. With compliance, security, and data sovereignty as key priorities. When speaking about this launch, Kunal Kushwaha, Field CTO at Civo said:
”At Civo, we understand that sovereignty and compliance are more than just checkboxes—they are the foundation of trust. Our India Sovereign Cloud is designed to empower businesses with secure, reliable cloud infrastructure, ensuring that their data remains protected and within Indian jurisdiction. This launch is about giving India’s developers and enterprises the control and peace of mind they deserve in today’s digital age.”
Here are some key features that make Civo’s India Sovereign Cloud stand out:

Last year, our team headed to the first edition of KubeCon India where they spent the week connecting with the Indian community and sharing more about the launch of our India Sovereign Cloud. Before KubeCon kicked off, we hosted the Civo India Launch Party in New Delhi to celebrate the launch of our India sovereign cloud region in Mumbai.
During this event, we were joined by Ashneer Grover for a fireside chat on India’s tech landscape and the opportunities ahead 👇
We also had Deputy Trade Commissioner, Anna Shotbolt, join us to share some insights on the significance of investment in India. When speaking with Anna about the launch of the new Mumbai Cloud Region, she said:
“The UK’s tech sector is the third largest in the world, valued at $1 trillion. The UK and India are committed to working together on the defining technologies of this decade, such as artificial intelligence (AI) and semiconductors, through the recently launched UK-India Technology Security Initiative. Civo’s expansion into India is a pertinent example of this commitment, leveraging the vibrant talent and innovation in tech across both countries to boost mutual growth. My best wishes to Civo as they enter one of the fastest growing markets in the world.” - Anna Shotbolt, Deputy Trade Commissioner for South Asia, British High Commission
